      on 2nd thought: I remember this (1) bug, so it might be a better idea to use >3 chars for the subdomain. not sure if fixed in GS... (1) http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Statusnet_problems#webfinger_not_recognized_.28but_I_get_other_user.27s_messages.29
