   Samba is such a chore   ( or rather working out the incantation of -o flags to mount.cifs to cope with samba/cifs module options and windows versions/ntlm security flags etc.. )

         Remote profile options...
         mount -overs=2.0,domain=corp.domain,...
         
         adding "domain" seems to be required since this host got build ( It was running squeeze! )
