@stevietrix well ... I'm not an expert in the theory stuff, and might get some words wrong, but ... It's really difficult to maintain revolutionary projects over generations, when the theory tells us we are just recuperating capitalism all the time. 

 I'm thinking "bigger cages longer chains"

And yes I do mean generations..
