for me it's this: every twister user is #self-hosting, installing the software for themselves. this was what I wanted for GNU social / statusnet, but as we know: we're building yet again beehives in SN/GS :-( -

the promoted twists: only 1 will be seen per day and that is the default one telling to help twister to generate blocks (if someone wants he can view all promoted posts). Basically the motivation for generating blocks (or better using energy) is to make twister more #secure -

for the username grabbing: is a solution discussed which will make it harder (also grabbed accounts would become available again). I think that Miguel didn't yet do it is because this helps (stress) testing the twister system -
