Oh... The receptionist needed to use my deadname to find my appointment. But they prefixed it with 'née'. Which was kinda cute -

@systemausfallorg hope you didn't mind us taking a short break. Things can only happen so fast with limited resources -

well that looks broken, but maybe only a CSS touch away from being fixed ? I can't do that though. Better disabling it ? Unless you can fix it ? -

@mmn I've enabled the ConversationTree plugin, but I can't tell what it does, or if it is working .. GS 1.2.0-beta4
Do you know if it's possible to get threaded conversations in GS now ?
Thanks in advance! -

I fixed the queuedaemons and things got better, then installed qvitter, and it wanted to reindex a table, so I gave up at that point.
Qvitter has been ok for me today. ( but it's not set to be default . ) -

maybe - but the queuedaemons weren't started automagically after the 1.1.3 -> 1.2.x jump -

@lnxw48a1 because it used UDP the from IP address didn't matter, and could be faked; improving possibilities for humour massively. -

I think it must be like that still in the 24th Century. When Picard says "send on all channels" he is just using the future equivalent of winPopup -

Remember when people used to put their Windows 98 computers straight on the Internet, and you could send UDP broadcasts to message strangers using `net send`
